Windstar Announces New Ship: Star Seeker
Windstar’s 224-guest, all suite ship coming out December 28, 2025

Inaugural Season:
Star Seeker’s inaugural season will begin in the Caribbean in January 2026, where several Windstar yachts will come together in celebration. Then, the ship will then cross the Panama Canal toward Alaska, where it will sail from May to August before heading across the Pacific to Japan.

Stylish Accommodations:
Nearly all 112 suites on Star Seeker come with a full private veranda or a floor-to-ceiling infinity window for stunning ocean views.

Dining Options:
Star Seeker’s culinary offerings include the main restaurant Amphora, our beloved Star Grill, their Yacht Club Café, complimentary 24-hour room service and a specialty restaurant yet to be revealed.

Welcoming Atmosphere:
With a 1:2 staff-to-guest ratio, Star Seeker will deliver the perfect balance of warm, friendly service and a fun-loving ambiance.

Upgraded Amenities:
Guests will have access to a full-service spa with grand entrance from the deck above, a fitness facility and a fresh take on our iconic Watersports Platform.

Star Seeker’s inaugural season in the Caribbean will include several joint celebrations with other Windstar yachts, spread across multiple itineraries.

These include:

• A special New Year’s Eve fireworks celebration in Tenerife, Canary Islands with Wind Star.
• A sunset sailing parade past the Pitons in St. Lucia with Wind Spirit and Star Pride
• Additional joint celebrations with Wind Surf

Windstar Knows the Way to Alaska

BRING ALASKA’S WILD BEAUTY INTO FOCUS as you discover small towns and big cities, cruise far up narrow fjords to the twin Sawyer Glaciers, and launch Zodiacs right from the ship into pristine wilderness on Windstar Signature Expeditions. Star Seeker will get you closer to scenic shorelines along the Inside Passage, and you’ll enjoy the best wildlife viewing opportunities as we adjust our schedule to linger whenever whales are present. Windstar’s Signature Expeditions staff is tops in the field, and the cruise line goes out of its way to expose guests to authentic Alaskan culture in tiny communities like Wrangell as well as onboard interactions with local speakers and performers. Some all-time favorite travel memories are on this journey: dog-sledding on Mendenhall Glacier, hiking Dewey Mountain, and of course, kayaking Endicott and Tracy Arm.

• Hop a helicopter for flightseeing over dozens of glaciers within the 1,500-square-mile Juneau Ice Field —the Pilots Choice tour, which features two landings for glacier hikes, “a pinnacle travel experience”
• Grab a jacket and join Windstar’s Signature Expeditions team on deck while cruising the Canadian Inside Passage or the Inian Islands— “You’ll get great insights and photo opportunities”
• Take a jet boat in Wrangell for a ride along the Stikine River (“unbelievable fun and absolutely beautiful”) or take an excursion to the Anan Wildlife Observatory — “Anan Creek has the largest pink salmon run in Southeastern Alaska, so the bear viewing is excellent”
